Dr Nigel Dunnett is Reader in Urban Horticulture, Department of Landscape, University of Sheffield, and Director of the Green Roof Centre, University of Sheffield.     This website outlines my research programmes, applications of that research to practice, and my consultancy and design activities. My background lies within the field of ecology, botany, horticulture, and garden and landscape design.  My work integrates all these disciplines.
